What is Contoura BodyFx and MiniFx ?
Contoura BodyFx and MiniFx are noninvasive devices for killing fat tissue and tightening skin and is specifically designed to smooth out areas of cellulite. In studies, 30% of adipose (fat) cells to a depth of 2.5 cm were destroyed and this innovative technology also aided in building 13.7% new collagen in the area of treatment. New collagen deposition helps with the appearance of a more youthful, firmer, smoother and tighter skin appearance. For the treatment of cellulite and loose skin, 2-5 sessions, one week apart is usually all that is needed to achieve a desired effect. If there is moderate to severe laxity in the skin, one session a week for 6-8 weeks will achieve a more desirable effect. With this loose type of skin, to further slowdown the ongoing skin aging process, one session every 1-3 months may be necessary.
